Our Manufacturing Process From Raw Material to Finished Product

01

Raw Material Selection

We start with the highest quality raw materials, selecting only the best iron ore and other essential components. This ensures that our TMT bars and structural steel products have the foundation of strength and durability.

02

Melting and Refining

The raw materials are melted in a blast furnace to create molten steel. During this process, impurities are removed, and the chemical composition is adjusted to achieve the desired properties for our products.

03

Continuous Casting

The molten steel is then poured into continuous casting machines to form billets, blooms, or slabs. This process allows for precise control over the shape and size of the initial steel forms.

04

Rolling and Shaping

The cast steel is heated and passed through rolling mills to form the desired shapes. For TMT bars, this involves a series of rolling stands that reduce the size of the billets into the required dimensions while imparting strength through mechanical deformation.

05

Thermo-Mechanical Treatment (for TMT Bars)

The hot rolled bars are rapidly quenched using a special water spray system, cooling the outer surface quickly while keeping the core hot. This process creates a tempered martensitic outer layer and a ductile inner core, giving TMT bars their unique combination of strength and flexibility.

06

Hot Rolling (for Structural Steel)

For structural steel products like beams, channels, and angles, the hot rolling process continues to shape the steel into its final form. The steel is passed through various rollers that shape it into the desired profile, ensuring uniformity and precision.

07

Cooling and Cutting

After shaping, the steel products are allowed to cool gradually in a controlled environment to prevent any distortion or weakening. Once cooled, the products are cut to the required lengths and sizes.

08

Quality Inspection

Each batch of TMT bars and structural steel products undergoes rigorous quality control checks. This includes testing for mechanical properties, chemical composition, and dimensional accuracy to ensure they meet industry standards and customer specifications.

09

Surface Treatment

Depending on the specific requirements, some steel products may undergo additional surface treatments such as galvanizing, coating, or painting to enhance corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal

10

Packaging and Dispatch

The finished products are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transportation. They are then dispatched to our customers, ensuring timely delivery and consistent quality.

At kaaveri, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards throughout our manufacturing process. Our state-of-the-art facilities and expert team ensure that every TMT bar and structural steel product we produce is built to last, providing strength and reliability for your construction projects
